Your Guiding Word, Your Guiding Light
a DIY + Do-It-Together Digital Guide for Living More Intentionally, No Matter When You Begin
For founders, creatives, and business owners already in motion, alignment isn't a luxury —— it's a necessity.
You've built something meaningful, but amidst the hustle, it's easy to lose sight of your core vision. "Your Guiding Word, Your Guiding Light" is more than a reflective exercise; it's a compass to recalibrate your path, ensuring every step resonates with your true self.
The idea stems from an alternative approach to New Year’s resolutions. Typical New Year’s resolutions focus on specific outcomes, while a guiding word emphasizes your mindset and process. This isn’t just for January —— it’s for whenever you need a fresh start. We believe this practice can be applied no matter when you choose to begin —— a birthday, a death anniversary of a loved one, or a time of life transition. It’s about feeling rather than doing —— about being rather than achieving. Life happens, and when it does, your word supports you in responding with intention and grace.
This digital guide offers a structured yet soulful approach to:
✨ Reflect on past experiences to extract meaningful insights.
✨ Envision how you want to show up in your business and life.
✨ Identify a guiding word that encapsulates your intentions.
✨ Integrate this word into daily practices to maintain alignment.
Whether you're navigating a pivot, scaling your operations, or seeking renewed clarity —— in your business, your creativity, or your life —— this guide serves as a touchstone to keep you grounded and aligned, wherever your dream is taking shape.

What’s Inside the Guide
1. The Groundwork
Set the vibe. Carve out some quiet time and space alone to reflect and do The Groundwork. After your groundwork is complete, drop into a bespoke guided meditation where Lindsey will help you visualize your future self and begin tapping into the energy of how you want to feel in the upcoming year —— the perfect primer to refine and claim your word.
2. Refine & Claim
You’ve explored, reflected, and begun to uncover words that resonate. Now, it’s time to refine and claim the one that truly fits. Using our MapQuest Exercise, you’ll work through definitions, synonyms, body awareness, and intuitive nudges to land on the word that feels like yours. Invite a friend into the process —— someone to serve as a believing mirror —— reflecting with heart and generosity what you might not fully hear for yourself. Through this practice, we hope that your word will shift from possibility to clarity, ready to be embraced.
3. Integrate & Implement
Your word is chosen —— now, how do you make it part of your everyday life? This section is all about living your word through intentional anchors. You’ll receive access to a customizable Canva Guiding Word Calendar, where you can visually map out your year, plus additional creative tools to help keep your word front and center. From daily rituals to meaningful touchpoints, we’ll help you weave your word into the fabric of your life so it supports you in every season.
