Hi —
I’m Patsy Kenney
Transformation Guide
I've spent over two decades helping people bridge the gap between who they are and how they show up in the world.
For most of that time, that work looked like brand strategy — naming what makes someone's work distinct, building the systems and stories to bring it to life, helping entrepreneurs align their businesses with the truth of who they are. I've worked with everyone from family-run businesses and local nonprofits to international brands and visionary founders. I hold degrees in Public Relations and Graphic Design, trained as a Transformational Life Coach, and spent years deepening my practice as an intuitive and ethnographic researcher.
What I didn't fully understand then — what I understand now — is that I was always doing the same thing underneath all of it.
Helping people come home to themselves.
In 2018, my own life began rearranging itself in ways I couldn't have anticipated.
My dad was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Roughly one year to live. And with that news came an invitation I couldn't ignore: evaluate how you are living.
What followed was a decade of crossings. The end of a seven-year marriage. Caring for my father, and eventually, the sacred brutal task of burying him. Businesses I had poured everything into — dissolving. Futures I had imagined — gone. It wasn't one rupture. It was watching entire timelines collapse in slow motion.
I spent years moving toward what called me, and back toward what felt safe. Hometown. Rhode Island. Hometown again for a job that called me there. Left when it no longer felt true. Fourteen months nomadic, not knowing where I belonged. A cold plunge in November that cracked something open. A return to Rhode Island. And then Costa Rica.
I'm not sharing this as backstory. I'm sharing it because it's the most important qualification I have.
I know what it costs to keep listening when everything external says otherwise. I know what it feels like to stand at the edge of something you can't name yet. I know how to walk through an ending without abandoning yourself — because I've done it, more than once.
That's what I bring into the room.
I also work at the soul level. We're all intuitive — but most of us have learned to talk ourselves out of what we know. I've spent years developing and deepening my trust in mine — and I bring that with me. Which means I can see and name what you might not be able to say yet. Not to tell you what to do. But to reflect back what's already true in you, clearly enough that you can finally trust it.
A transformation guide is not a therapist. Not a consultant. Not a life coach in the traditional sense.
A therapist helps you heal the past. A consultant hands you a plan. A life coach often focuses on goals and accountability.
A transformation guide sits with you at the threshold — the moment between who you've been and who you're becoming. The work isn't about fixing you or mapping your next five years. It's about helping you hear yourself clearly enough to trust what you know — and take the next true step.
That's what I do.
Today my work lives at the intersection of everything I've learned and everything I've lived.
I hold space for people standing at their own threshold — not to push them over, not to hand them a plan, but to sit with them in the questions until they can hear their own answers again.
I call myself a believing mirror. Not because I have answers you don't, but because I can reflect back what's true when you've lost sight of it yourself.
This is soul-to-soul work. I don't come with a script. I come with presence.
My background in brand strategy means I understand how to help you translate inner truth into outer expression — when you're ready for that. My training in transformational coaching means I know how to hold the full weight of a person, not just the presenting problem. My years of ethnographic research mean I listen at a depth most people aren't used to being heard at.
And my own crossings mean I don't flinch.

7: The Enthusiast
Sevens are enthusiastic about almost everything that catches their attention. They approach life with curiosity, optimism, and a sense of adventure, like “kids in a candy store” who look at the world in wide-eyed, rapt anticipation of all the good things they are about to experience. Their thinking is anticipatory: they foresee events and generate ideas “on the fly,” favoring activities that stimulate their minds—which in turn generate more things to do and think about. Their minds move rapidly from one idea to the next, making Sevens gifted at brainstorming and synthesizing information.

My biggest and latest threshold: relocating to Costa Rica. The Pacific is a 12-minute walk away. The howler monkeys wake me up most mornings. The sunsets do something I still don't have words for.
I'm still becoming. And unbecoming. I think that's the whole point.
If any of this feels familiar — I would love to work with you. →
